Essential Oils to Boost Immune Function
Do not use strong essential oils such as cinnamon bark and clove bud without considering the safety implications. These are extreme skin irritants, and should not be used during pregnancy or nursing, with any "heat" signs, or cardiovascular issues.
Take caution when using essential oil recipes you find online. It is impossible to give blanket advice as every oil is different. Many are contraindicated during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and for small children and babies.
Some oils, like Tea Tree, is toxic for dogs and cats.
Do not spray your own blend in an enclosed public space. Be considerate of others, you are not aware of others health conditions.
Using high quality, unadulterated and properly stored essential oils is important. I have my own preferred suppliers that I use with patients and in oil blends.
